<Kuro Tomesode>

Kuro Tomesode is the most prestigious and formal form of kimono.

It is mainly worn by the bride's and groom's relatives and matchmakers for celebratory occasions such as weddings and wedding receptions.

Kuro-tomesode is characterized by a black base color, five family crests on the kimono, plain weave silk fabric without a ground pattern, and a pattern across the seam called "Eba Moyo" at the hem only.

<Noshi Pattern>
The bundled Noshi is a symbol of congratulations, as many Noshi are bundled together,
It is said to mean that the wearer has received blessings from many people and that he or she should share this happiness with the people around him or her.   This pattern is also a symbol of longevity, making it a very celebratory pattern.

<About Black Dyeing>
