Who We Are
Representative: Kaoru Sasaki
After studying sociolinguistics at the graduate school of Monash University in Australia, she became an interpreter and translator. Since starting as the executive director of a non-profit for the Brazilian Amazonian forest and its indigenous people in 1989, she has been involved in environmental, social, peace, and equality-related activities.
Since 2003, Kaoru has been a pioneer of the Drum Circle, a non-verbal workshop, in Japan, before shifting to a general facilitator using language and becoming an organization development consultant.
Her hobby is nature observation, and he is also a nature guide at the Michelin-three-starred Mt. Takao.

In addition to being a monk, he practices natural farming, hand-makes the Japanese seasonings from miso, shoyu, and mirin to yuzugosho, works to restore "human life" by creating home for children and adults and by building a terminal care system in the area.
